Student Leadership
Racine Lighthouse Brigade is proud to say that they are not only fostering future musicians, but also future leaders. In our program student members have the opportunity to become section leaders, Guard Sergeant, Admin assistant, Educational assistant, and drum major. To be selected for a leadership role members will need to fill out an application and go through an interview process.

For students who do not elect to take leadership roles but are still active members of our band, events, and volunteer programs they have the options for a letter. We honor our dedicated members with a letter for their letterman jacket based on points acquired.

Guard Sergeant
a student leader who assists the Drum Major, Band Captain, and section leaders, and is responsible for the color guard, ensuring they are prepared and performing effectively. Will aide in choreography, equipment maintenance, and maintaining order and discipline within the color guard.
